As a child and teenager, he loved listening to different beats and sounds. Music made him feel alive in a way no other work did. Even while studying and working in hospitality, his passion for music kept growing stronger.

One day, he made a bold choice. He decided to leave the safe path behind and take the risk of becoming a Disc Jockey (DJ). He did not have contacts in the industry. He had no ready network to help him. But he had his passion, and that gave him the courage to start.

First Shows and Learning Stages

In the beginning, opportunities were small. He played at weddings, birthdays, and private parties. These were not glamorous events, but they were important because they gave him practice. Every small show taught him something new: how to mix songs, how to read the crowd, and how to keep the energy alive.

His first big break came when he was hired as a resident DJ at a club. This gave him the chance to perform regularly and sharpen his skills. From there, more opportunities opened. Over the years, he played as a guest DJ in 20 to 40 clubs across India, while also working as a resident (in-house) DJ for 4 to 5 clubs consistently for the past six years.

Achievements That Made Him Proud

One of the highlights of his career was being invited to judge the War of DJs competition at L.S. Raheja College. This was a big honor. It showed that people now saw him not just as a performer but also as someone experienced enough to guide new talent.

For DJ Aghori, this was a special moment. Once he had been the beginner looking for a chance, and now he was supporting the next generation of DJs.

Today, his biggest achievement is performing in the United Arab Emirates, which was always a dream for him. Playing in an international market proved that his hard work and persistence had truly paid off.

Sometimes he played in almost empty clubs. At first, this was disappointing. But instead of giving up, he used these shows as practice. He tried new mixes, experimented with sounds, and polished his skills.

Technical issues were another challenge. During live shows, problems with sound systems or equipment can suddenly happen. In those moments, a DJ must stay calm and keep the crowd engaged. “If you panic, the crowd feels it. If you stay confident, they stay with you,” says DJ Aghori.

This meant he slept only four hours a night, spending the rest of his time working or traveling. It was a very tough lifestyle. But instead of breaking him, it made him disciplined. It taught him patience, focus, and the importance of hard work.
