Furthermore, SEWA has expanded its water network by adding over 3,200 new water connections this year. This expansion caters to the increasing number of residential and commercial developments, ensuring a consistent and reliable supply of clean water.

On the water supply front, SEWA has announced a Dh50 million investment in expanding its network in Kalba, addressing rising water demand with improved distribution systems. Additionally, a new desalination plant in Hamriyah is under development, boasting a capacity to produce 90 million gallons of water daily. This facility will play a vital role in securing a steady water supply for Sharjah’s future.
